Available resources include Loch Nevis, sheltered rocky shores, exposed rocky shores, rock pools, sandy shores, islands and associated inter-tidal habitats, rivers and freshwater lochs. For the more adventurous, field trips to Skye, Rum and Eigg are easily arranged
Catch your own fish, invertebrates and plankton; classify the catch, identify the organisms, investigate how they are adapted to their particular habitats and create a food web for Loch Nevis - all done on the sea rather than in the classroom. this is a unique educational experience that is never forgotten
Design your own individual project of work as part of a team
For those with the appropriate diving qualifications underwater photography, recording and survey techniques are available
Terrestrial resources include woodland, moorland, raised beaches and of course the mountains
